Russian miner reports higher gold production

Russian mining company Polymetal has announced an increase in gold output for the third quarter compared with the same period last year.
The firm said in a statement today (October 22nd) that higher throughput at its expanded Voro plant had helped to push gold production three per cent higher in the three months to the end of September in contrast with 2008.
