Monument expects to beat output target

Monument Mining expects its Selinsing gold mine in Malaysia will likely surpass a targeted 40 000 oz of gold production in its first year of commercial production, CEO Robert Baldock said on Monday.
Monument reported third-quarter results for the three months ended March 31, during which it generated gross revenue of $15-million from the sale of 10 704 oz of gold.
