Anglo American Selects CiDRA SONARtrac® Process Monitoring Technology for Los Bronces Mine

CiDRA Minerals Processing announced today that Anglo American, a global leader in mining, has selected SONARtrac® flow monitoring systems for use in critical slurry lines in their Los Bronces division mine in Chile. Anglo American’s wholly owned Los Bronces mine is a large open pit copper and molybdenum mine in central Chile, which is currently undergoing a large expansion to boost its copper production up to an average of 400,000t annually by 2011.
